Bird Museum
the air is filled with a variety of species
Do you know the lesser whitethroat? When was the last time you saw a nightjar or a grebe? Of course, we are not talking about stinging insects, farming professions or obscure hobbies, but rather of rare bird species, many of which are threatened with extinction. You will be able to view close-up both these and many others at the Bird Museum in Waging. There, you will find almost 300 specimens of European birds. Accompanied by a collection of mammals such as the bobcat, wolf and bear – in fact, you will even get to see a muskox from Greenland as well!
