Weidsee

Idyllic Weidsee, a lake surrounded by reeds, lies 2 km south of Petting and, together with the castle as well as the fishing rights, is privately owned. Weidsee and its shoreline are a nature sanctuary with magnificent beech trees, larches, birches and oaks. No rivers flow either in or out of the lake. There are neither swimming beaches nor opportunities for water sports.
