You can also travel in by train via Landshut und Mühldorf to Fridolfing and Kirchanschöring.

Via the A8 autobahn Munich-Salzburg, then take the Traunstein/Siegsdorf exit (at km 98.5). Now make a left in the direction of Traunstein until you come to the roundabout, where you will take the second exit following signs for Waging. After the tunnel, turn right towards Waging am See, and after about 10 km you will be in Waging am See itself. Once there, all of the other nearby towns and villages are clearly signposted.

For romantics – the “blue route”

Take the B 20 from Straubing-Burghausen in the direction of Freilassing. About 2 km before you reach Tittmoning, make a right and drive through the beautiful countryside until you reach Waginger See.
