Strandkurhaus Waging
 

The big 10-hectare park here is a popular gathering spot for bathers, young and old. Your memorable day in the sunshine also features a 2 km-long gravel beach, grassy lawns, a sports park and a water park, along with a ca. 3 km-long promenade.

The actual swimming beach is supervised by trained lifeguards. And for children, there is also a separate area for non-swimmers.

Waginger See is 12 km long, 3 km wide and, at its deepest point, 27 m deep. Because of its relative shallowness, Waginger See can be counted on every year to be the warmest lake in Upper Bavaria.
