Taching and Tengling Beaches

There are actually two municipally run beaches in Taching am See and in Tengling. Both of them are located amid a broad nature sanctuary alongside Tachinger See, popular destinations for bathers, not least because of the beautiful mountain panorama and their idyllic setting in general. Because it is not particularly deep (just 19 m), Tachinger See is one of the warmest lakes in Upper Bavaria, also boasting water quality that is consistently good.

These two beaches both feature restaurants next to the lake, a playground for the children (in Taching am See, there is also a water play-area on the shore), diving platforms, beach volleyball courts, a boule court as well as boat rentals. Both beaches are patrolled to ensure water safety.
